I have taken the ALCAT tests and changed my diet dramatically and it has greatly improved my health and how I feel. I want to especially commend, your nutritionist, Amy Pieczarka. What a bargain that part of your program is.
Amy has spent several phone appointments with me and my wife, made up diets and sent me various material to assist me with a huge lifestyle change and I wanted to compliment her. She is really an asset to your company……I have recommended your services to several friends and have told each one to add the dietician services and be sure and ask for Amy.
Thank you so much, I had been having very severe headaches, almost on a daily basic and they are now gone, in addition to my feeling much better and having far more energy.

"The ALCAT Test is absolutely amazing" |
At 220 pounds I had been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis, Adult Onset Asthma, and High Blood Pressure. I was Border Line Diabetic and had Pitted Edema in my legs to the extent I wore support hose for 5 years. My ailments were only out numbered by the medications I took for them. I started trying to lose weight. Without much support or direction, I tried several nationally advertised well known diet plans. I would lose a little and gain even more. After approximately 3 years of this yo-yo I had gained an additional 32 pounds, and was now at my top weight of 252 pounds. Then I found the ALCAT Test through a book I was reading. Unlike the “diet plans” I had seen before, the ALCAT test spoke of food intolerance and a medical reason why my body was not responding to a healthy diet.
After taking the ALCAT Test, I found my most severe food intolerances were some of the healthiest foods I ate, and I ate them on a daily basis. (Lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, and lemons, to name a few). When I started the ALCAT Test Rotation Diet I was sure this was something that could change my life. When I eliminated the foods I was intolerant to I started losing weight almost immediately, an amazing 15 pounds the first 2 weeks. In the following 11 weeks I lost an additional 70 pounds. After approximately 10 days I was able to stop taking all six prescription medications. I lost an incredible 16 inches on my waist line; and went from a 3XL shirt to a medium.
The ALCAT Test is absolutely amazing.

I am writing to report great benefits after one week of following the ALCAT recommendations for the 150 food intolerance test. I have been aware of the foods I am allergic to for years and eliminated those foods from my diet. The awesome thing is that the foods on the food intolerance list were different from foods I noticed myself responding allergically to. I had no idea my immune system was intolerant of veggies such as broccolli and fruits like grapes. I always thought, "The more fruits and veggies the better." However, after eliminating the foods on the red and orange lists for one week I have experienced benefits beyond my expectations. My mind is clearer and I am thinking more creatively and with more clarity. I have more physical energy and endurance and am not fatigued as I was a week ago. My digestion is much better. A friend said I look like I'm glowing! Thank you for the great guidance. This was well worth the cost and time and energy it took to do.
Sincerely,

I Just Want to Say the Food Allergy Testing was the BEST THING THAT I EVER DID! |
|
"I just want to say that the food allergy testing was the best thing I ever did! I have always had GI issues, but 3 years ago they got worse (most likely do to diet changes I made to lose weight – I know these “diet” foods were making me sick). I went to every GI specialist in the area – all dismissed me with IBS. I had some testing done ranging from ultrasounds to endoscopy to barium swallows. All tests were normal.
For 3 years I was miserable. I often had to miss outings with friends. I would leave meals feeling ill. I missed several days of work and often worried I’d lose my job. I went to therapy to reduce “stress” that my Drs said I had. People told me it was all in my head! I would get aggravated and depressed that I had no answers! I would have stomach spasms, distention (stomach would go from flat and firm to a 6 month pregnant look- this really bothered me since I work out so much to look in shape!), bloating, mucus during bowel movements, and nausea. I agree, it was all symptoms of IBS, but I didn’t believe there was no answer for it!
I finally gave in and did the alcat testing. I found I was allergic to several things, some of which I ate daily – almonds, rye, brewer’s yeast (alcohol), soy (in all my protein bars and shakes!), green leaf and iceburg lettuce and food dyes. I have avoided these foods for 2 months now and I feel so much better.
A few weeks ago I bought rye wraps- forgetting I was allergic to rye. All 3 days I ate it I was extremely sick with bloating, constipations and spasms. As soon as I remembered I was allergic to Rye I stopped. I was fine after that. This proved the food allergy! When I go out to dinner I also get sick since I do not know what’s hidden in the food.
I know people say there may be false positives and you end up cutting out lots of food, but I don’t care! I never want to go back to how I felt these past years! I would recommend this for anyone who is told they have IBS. It can change your life!"

"I Just Needed the Previ Diet to Stabilize ME!" |
Having a chronic cough for over 3 years and going through many tests for my heart, hiatal hernia, acid reflux, and sinus problems, I was diagnosed with asthma and put on the usual medication. After being on asthma medication for 9 months, I ended up in the emergency room two consecutive days where they packed my nose to stop the bleeding.
I had the ALCAT blood test in December 2008 and since January 9, 2009, I have followed the four-day rotation diet. In two days, after being on the diet, I stopped coughing 75-80% and in three days stopped taking my medication for the hiatial hernia an acid reflux. I no longer have heart burn….
I saw my cardiologist for my routine check up two months, one week after I started the diet. I have lost 20 lbs and am now off a total of 4 prescriptions; one of them being a blood pressure medication. My blood pressure has also dropped. The doctor told me if I continue to lose another 20 lbs I will probably be able to go off my other blood pressure and cholesterol medication in 6 months. I also had my routine blood work to check the cholesterol, HDL, LDL triglycerides, and they have fallen to very readings.
I can’t say enough about how I feel now and will continue to stay on the rotation diet. I do not think of this as a diet. There is so much food to choose from daily. You are not hungry and it’s your choice to choose what you want each day.
Thank you!

I decided to spend the money for testing with ALCAT because of several things: First, I had been feeling exhausted for many years (at least 3). That is, I wake up after 8-9 hours of sleep feeling totally exhausted. I knew something wasn’t right. I ate well, cooked my own meals, ate lots of fruit and vegetables, exercised regularly, and am not overweight. It seemed I was doing most of the right things, but I could not get rid of feeling exhausted. Something was definitely wrong.
Second, my eczema was getting worse. I’ve had eczema in various spots (inner ear, and behind the ear) for at least 10 years, and now it was spreading to my face (forehead and around the nostrils). I read a lot about eczema, and I found out that it’s mainly a symptom that your immune system is going overboard reacting to some environmental factor. I thought that food sensitivities could be (part of) the cause. After talking to an informative and patient ALCAT representative, I decided to give it a shot. It was very helpful to me that the rep explained that food intolerances manifest itself in different ways in people. What shows up for me (exhaustion and eczema) could be somebody else’s arthritis, migraine, and/or weight gain. I hadn’t thought of that.
About 5-6 days into my 4-day rotation diet, I noticed a "lack of exhaustion". That day was Friday, May 8th and my office had commencement. After twelve straight hours of running around, I noticed that although I was tired, I wasn't exhausted. I chalked it up to it being an exciting and exhilarating day. But then for the next two days (weekend), I noticed I wasn't exhausted, and in fact, ran 11 miles early Saturday morning. Then when Monday rolled around, it really hit me that I WASN'T EXHAUSTED. And although I can't say that I'm full of energy when it comes to bedtime, I can absolutely say that I do not wake up feeling exhausted. I have noticed that when I eat something that I’ve tested to be intolerant to (for example, eggs, curry, or rice), I wake up feeling exhausted, as well as experience minor digestive inconveniences that I had come to accept as part of the eating process.
Eating the foods on the rotation diet also leaves me feeling satisfied without feeling full. I can’t explain it. It’s a very peaceful process. I feel at peace. It’s been about 5 weeks into the rotation diet and I am very happy to report that my eczema is 95% gone. My inner ear, which has itched like crazy for over 10 years, stopped itching and flaking the first week. The skin behind my ear is now smooth, whereas just weeks before it had constantly gone through the very itchy, “ooze, crust, then flake” cycle. I still have dry spots on my face, but they haven’t gotten worse, and I don’t find myself uncontrollably scratching them.
These benefits are real! I hope they last!!
